I’ve had my Fitbit Charge 2 for about three and a half weeks, and I love it! First of all its purple. Oh ya!
Here are some of its features: Steps, distance, calories burned, and floors climbed. Run, bike, weights, and other sports mode. Smarttrack Auto-Exercise Recognition. Purepulse continuous heart rate monitoring. Auto sleep tracking and silent alarms. Call, text, and calendar alerts. Syncs with your smartphone thru the Fitbit software app. Long battery life and customizable bands.
The Fitbit App and dashboard show charts and graphs. Connects with your friends. Earn fun badges, log food, weight, sleep, and workouts. The app is compatible with My fitness Pal, Map my walk and other apps.
The Fitbit Charge 2 with Purepulse technology gives me reminders to get my steps in every hour. The average number of steps is 10,000 each day. The Fitbit Charge 2 will remind you every hour to get your 250 steps in. The little guy on the screen jumps up and down and encourages you. When you get to 10,000, the Fitbit Charge 2 celebrates by vibrating and showering down with stars on the screen! So fun.
I have enjoyed the sleep tracking as well. My goal is set to get at least seven hours of sleep each night. I average about four hours at a time. Definitely a good goal to work on as we all know how important it is to get proper sleep.
I track my daily food intake on My Fitness Pal and it syncs right in with my Fitbit. Owning this new Fitness tracker has encouraged me to be more active at work and at home. With my gastric sleeve surgery behind me, the challenge is to keep the weight off and exercise is the key.
There are only two things to criticize about the Fitbit Charge 2: first, it’s not waterproof and second, you have to remember to charge the battery. Pretty small problems in the big scheme of things.
I think this is a great tool to add to your arsenal in the fight against weight management. I have enjoyed how easy it is to use. It’s fun!
